Pink Ceramic Beads are made of fermented clay mixed with naturally activated micro-organisms, fired at a lower temperature (800°C) than the grey beads (1200°C). This firing at a lower temperature explains the pink colour. The activated micro-organisms they contain re-energizes water, thanks to the principle of resonance, just as with the grey beads.

However, the Pink beads are more porous than the grey ones. They are therefore a very good mechanical filter, with an action close to the filtering action of Binchotan charcoal. 

Through physical interaction, the impurities present in tap water are trapped in the small cavities of these highly porous beads.

The firing at a lower temperature also means Pink Ceramic Beads are less sturdy than the Grey Ceramic Beads. This is why we advise not to use Pink Ceramic Beads in the kettle, but to use them exclusively in cool water.

Use them for up to 6 months, which is much less than the grey ceramic beads. As they act as a mechanical filter, they will become saturated with impurities and lose effectiveness. To discard them, as they are 100% natural and biodegradable, do not hesitate to put them in the compost box.
