Properties of Shea Butter
Butyrospernum parkii is the tree that produces the precious kernels from which shea butter is extracted. In Africa, where it is produced, this butter is renowned for its cosmetic properties to the point that it is called "women's gold".

Rich in vitamins and fatty acids, it is highly appreciated by dry and dull hair as well as curly and coloured hair, giving them back their shine and strength. The hair is :

Shampoo as usual, on wet hair, gently massaging the scalp and then rinse thoroughly. This shampoo provides a soft and silky lather, so it is easy to use.

To obtain shiny hair and to prevent the hair scales from remaining open, we advise you to use an acidic solution as the last rinse water (this rebalances the PH of your scalp and eliminates traces of limescale).

How do you make the acidic rinse solution? It is very simple. Mix a tablespoon of cider vinegar or lemon juice in ½ litre of water.

How to transition and clarify your hair

How to make a successful transition to natural hair care?

Giving up industrial products with silicones and harmful substances can reveal some surprises about the real state of your hair (silicones act as a "cover-up"). This is why patience is needed when transitioning your hair to natural care. The first step can be to rid your hair of any unwanted residue so that the natural care can penetrate and nourish your hair.

You can do this by following these steps:

Remove all residue by clarifying.
Regular 30-minute vegetable oil baths will provide nourishing care for the hair. To provide moisture, use aloe vera, honey or yoghurt as a mask on the hair before shampooing.
It will take several weeks to really see the benefits.
Clarification method: mix 2 parts clay (green, more absorbent, or white, softer) with half a part cider vinegar and a little water to make a paste that is easy to apply to the hair. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse. A vegetable oil bath is recommended after this step. Then wash your hair with your solid shampoo and don't forget to finish the rinse with an acid solution (all the more necessary after the clarification which will have opened the scales of the hair).
