Why these plate covers?
At a picnic, on a table waiting for guests to arrive or even in the fridge, the cover protects the dish from insects, dust or other sources of contamination. It can be used over and over again and can be adapted to several different surfaces. It is more economical and more ecological than the traditional plastic film. Once you've tried it, you won't want to do without it!
The advantage of these charlottes is that they are made of GOTS fabric (100% organic).
By ecological choice, our charlottes are made of GOTS cotton fabric without a polyurethane coating (also called PUL fabric). The absence of plasticising materials seemed to us to be more respectful of the environment but also of the health of the users whose food does not come into contact with the plastic (even if it is allowed for food contact). When using them, it is important to note that they are not waterproof.
They are 100% natural but they are nevertheless effective, their elasticity allowing a perfect adhesion to the dish.
The range
Depending on the type of dish to be covered, different sizes are available, the elastic allows the fabric to adapt to a dish of a slightly different size.
- 30 cm diameter dish cover: particularly suitable for pie dishes or large salad bowls.
- 24 cm diameter cover: fits most medium sized salad bowls very well.
- 19 cm diameter cover: ideal for covering a soup plate
- 12 cm diameter cover: perfect for covering a bowl or a small pot (jam jar for example).

Wash at 30° (preferable so as not to damage the elastic).
What is GOTS cotton?
Cotton is a natural material, which can be easily processed into fabric without the addition of any products. But its cultivation is not always environmentally friendly. This is why we have chosen GOTS cotton. This is an organic certification that guarantees the absence of chemical treatment from production to design, but also a good use of resources (such as water), as well as beneficial working conditions for the workers.
Choosing GOTS cotton means taking care of our health by eliminating irritating, allergenic or toxic products, but also of the planet!
